About the Opportunity
One of our well established clients, a tertiary referral hospital with 1700 beds that provides broad-based medical care to the community, is seeking highly trained and experienced specialists to join their team. The campus will have a comprehensive medical service which consists of acute care, community hospitals, specialist outpatient clinics, intermediate and long-term care facilities. It is an open and welcoming hospital, with various activities organized within the Campus and green spaces to encourage staff and patients to engage in an active lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide holistic, patient-centred care across both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Lead multidisciplinary healthcare teams and collaborate closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality care
- Participate in intra- and interdepartmental projects and committees
- Teach and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as other healthcare professionals
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Head of Department
Clinical & Surgical Practice
- Provide comprehensive surgical and conservative management of spinal conditions and pathologies, including degenerative disorders, deformities, infections, trauma, and tumours at cervical, thoracic, lumbosacral vertebrae levels.
- Lead and perform elective and emergency spinal surgeries, delivering the highest standards of patient safety and clinical care outcomes.
- Lead the spine team to assess and evaluate patients through history, physical examination, investigations and imaging to accurately diagnose and effectively manage spinal conditions and pathologies.
- Participate in acute spine trauma activations and on call- rosters within the Orthopaedic and Emergency Care frameworks.
- Work closely with peri-operative and multidisciplinary teams (e.g. Rehabilitation, Neurosurgery, Pain Services, Radiology, Primary Care) to deliver integrated, holistic value driven care to patients.
Requirements
- Basic medical qualification (e.g., MBBS or equivalent)
- Recognised postgraduate Specialist training with Qualification, such as: MMed (Singapore), CCT (UK), Fellowship from Australia or New Zealand, FRCPC (Canada) or Fellowship of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (FHKAM), American Board Certification
- Eligibility for registration as a Specialist with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) and Specialist Accreditation Board (SAB)
- Resilient and adaptable, with a willingness to contribute to service development in a dynamic environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
- Strong command of spoken and written English
Benefits
- 2-year renewable contract
- Annual salary range: SGD $240,000 – SGD $350,000 (depending on specialty and years of experience)
- One-time relocation and settling-in allowance, including economy-class airfare for employee and immediate family
